First Belly Photo and the Weekend

This weekend was pretty packed, but lots of fun.

Friday night Jeremy and I went out with a bunch of friends for a birthday party.  We started off the night eating delicious Lucy's Original burgers and ended it at Ruby Jewel for ice cream.   A bunch of the couples shared ice cream sandwiches since they are so big.  I had my own, well...let's just say I shared with the baby.  It was delicious!
The weirdest thing happened that night.  The majority of the group showed up wearing army green jackets.  Literally all of the the girls were wearing green jackets as well as a few of the guys.  Apparently army green jackets are so hot right now.

Saturday I drove down to visit my parents, grandparents, and my sister.  My grandma Pearl gave me a painting that she did at some point when she was younger.  I have the perfect spot for it in my sewing room.
Sunday Jeremy tried taking a bunch of pictures of my baby bump, but it turns out that it really doesn't show up too much in photos yet.  Below is our best one.  It doesn't look much bigger than my belly after Thanksgiving dinner, but I assure you, it is.  Then we hung out with Jeremy's family at a birthday party for his sister and his grandma for the rest of the afternoon.  A great way to round out the weekend.

You're going to love it! I will say that I also share your obsession with those rosemary string fries at BurgerVille. UHHHMAZING!

i always wonder what mine will look like in the beginning stages. i'm guessing just like a food baby, but i won't have to worry about sucking it in - haha! sometimes i can make myself look like 5 months pregnant after an unusually large meal. it's a hidden talent really. haha!
