This weekend I had a gift to wrap for a friend's daughter. I searched my house but realized we were completely out of wrapping paper. I couldn't stand the idea of her getting a gift in a Target shopping bag so I went into my craft room to come up with something fun to wrap her gift in.
I ended up with a section of newspaper found in our kindling box, craft buttons, baker's twine, and a scrap of lace trim. It was fun to experiment with the supplies until I found something I was happy with. This is the final product...
I plan to treat my gift wrap more like a craft project from now on. It's more personal and bonus, it's cheaper.
