We changed the layout of our living room this year so a new Christmas tree location needed to be found. The spot we picked had no nearby outlet. I think at this point a lot of people would either pick a new location or start running an extension cord across the room. This is why I'm lucky my husband is so handy.
His solution was pretty simple really. Put in a new electrical oulet behind the tree. This seemed like it would be a lot of work to me, but he had it finished in less than an hour. What a man!
There are not really any updates to our decorations from last year, but I still love them anyway. I'm hoping to make stockings for the fireplace sometime in the next week. If I find the time and motivation I will post photos once they are finished.

ReplyDeleteI'm a total slacker too... no tree yet. :) But, seriously handy husband! Me and mine would have figured a way to string extension cords across the room because we have no idea how to even contemplate putting in a new outlet. Great job!
ReplyDeleteLove the bright festive colors your picked for your tree! Handy men are the best kind of men :)
