The Weekend

 This weekend was pretty great.
On Friday, Pearl and I went to coffee at Heart with my friend Whitney and her mom.  They were visiting from the east coast.  Whitney and I were both interns at Betsey Johnson back in 2006.  The last time I saw her was a few years back when I took a trip to New York for work.  It was great to catch up.  We also got our taxes done that day and with Pearl's help we got a pretty nice refund.
Saturday was my friend Pam's wedding.  I'm so happy that she asked me to be a bridesmaid and to take part in her special day.  I brought my camera with me, but I was pretty busy so I just have a few cell phone photos to share.
Me and the bride.
Pearl in her outfit for the wedding.  This is before she pooped on her dress at the reception and we had to take her out of it.
Family photo :)
Super blurry, but I really love this photo of me and Pearl.

On Sunday we had dinner for Jeremy's parent's birthday.  Their birthday is on the same day!  Then we played games and ate donuts.

And...we get a bonus weekend day today!
I hope your weekend was great too!

  1. You look so beautiful! I can't believe how long your hair has gotten : ) Are you still thinking of cutting it off?

  2. you looked gorgeous at the wedding! Loved your dress and hair :)

  3. This looks like a really nice weekend.
    Have a beautiful week! :)

  4. Kira you look so pretty all dressed does Pearl (I'm assuming she's the only one who pooped on her fancy dress though)! :) And I agree, your hair is SO long! It looks so good, I'm not sure if I've ever seen it this long before but I love it! Can wait to hang out Weds!

  5. Love the picture of you and Pearl- you both look so happy. I swear babies know when they are wearing a "really important outfit." Those are, apparently, the best kind to poop on.

  6. Sounds like a great weekend! You look gorgeous and I that's so fun you interned at Betsey Johnson. Love her stuff!

  7. I love the picture of you and your baby because you are both just so happy to be together.

  8. Wow, I was just reading the blog for that coffee place Heart, how interesting! I have always loved coffee, but definitely don't consider myself a connoisseur or anything. It's cool how much they know and put in to their business of making sure every cup is brewed to perfection. Now I need to go there!

I love to hear from you, and will do my best to respond to your comment! Please no spam :)
