Nap Time Project

I patterned and made these bibs during a couple of Pearl's naps this week.  I was tired of her cute bibs not being very functional and her functional bibs not being very cute.  The girl spits up and drools like crazy so she has a bib on 24/7.
I'm hoping to make more as gifts for friends and maybe sell some as well.  But, first I need to make sure they work.  It's time for some wear testing...
Bonus photo...this is Pearl post photo shoot:
Also, she just spit up all over that bib. So testing has truly begun.

  6. I LOVE these. I would totally buy some if you made some boy ones! I have been on the lookout for new bibs lately...but there are never any cute ones and since Holden wears one all day, every day I want them to be cute! Some of the ones he has have gotten discolored and oh, it is just a bother! Drool and spit-up....please, spit-up can YOU at least GO AWAY ALREADY?!?!?!

  7. Bennett never spit up or drooled really so we never had any bibs...I'm hoping we are that lucky with this one, but I'm assuming the chances are pretty slim. I love the fact that you can just make something if ¥ou feel like it. Oh and I love Pearl's thighs...nothing better than chunky baby thighs!

  8. such a talented mama you are! the Bean has just started drool-fest 2012, so I picked up some cute bibs from H&M...cause I'm lame and can barely sew anything besides a button or a pillowcase:-) xoxo

  14. these are awesome kira! sign me up for one - you should totally sell these! it's so hard to find cute bibs. fern just entered the drool stage and i went with simple, but only because the non-simple ones say "my mommy is my favorite" and "daddy's little slugger" on them...or they have stupid cartoon characters on them. lame. these are infinitely cuter.
