Portlander Problems #7

1. The sick feeling I get when I realize that someone I know doesn't recycle.
2. Being the only person in a line of cars at a green light willing to honk my horn.  Maybe most Portlanders are too nice to honk, but sometimes people need a reminder to go when the light is green.
3. Having that constant feeling of sadness in my heart because the Blazers are not having a good season.
4. After two days of sun, somehow the entire city forgets how to drive in the rain.

If you live in the Portland area and want to share some of your own, I would love if you would submit your Portlander Problems to me.
I will post yours one of these coming weeks.  E-mail me at kiralynnpdx@gmail.com.

  1. Haha, oh dear. I want to visit Portland so bad. You would love Japan - they break up their recycling and trash into about 5 categories. If the trash man sees that you have recycling items in the trash more than 3 times they stop picking up your trash altogether. Haha - sorry, random fact.

I am one of those people afraid to use a horn...

  2. Sorry, but I really like your Portlander problems. :/

  3. Cincinnati has some of the same problems! And congrats on your new shop!! I added you to my circle. :) I can't wait to have a friend have a baby so I can buy them an adorable bib!!

  4. lol at the green light. Here, we have a serious problem with bicyclists who don't know how to share the road.

  5. I am so guilty about recycling!! I grew up in Southern California and my dad was so into doing it. We loved it. Then I moved to Utah and we just don't have the luxury of a personal recycling bin! You have to pay extra, soooo lame! But I will try to teach my kids to, SO IMPORTANT!!

  6. I'm really into honking. But then, afterwards, I feel bad about it for about 5 minutes. silly guilty conscience.

  7. Hahaha that is funny about the recycling, I am always thrown off when I ask someone where to put my beer bottle and they respond with "oh just in the trash." So I get it!

I love to hear from you, and will do my best to respond to your comment! Please no spam :)
