Portlander Problems #12

1. I'm often getting quick last minute visits from family members who were in town to visit Ikea. "Hey, we came up to go to Ikea and it looks like we have time to stop by, be there in ten minutes."  I love seeing family, but let's be honest, I wouldn't be getting visits if it were not for Ikea.
2. Is a carb overdose possible? I can't resist Dave's Killer Bread and it is available at every grocery store and nearly every restaurant I go to.  I eat about a loaf a week.
3. All of my friends are moving to the west side. They may as well be a state away as far as I'm concerned.  I need east side friends.

If you live in the Portland area and want to share some of your own, I would love if you would submit your Portlander Problems to me.
I will post yours one of these coming weeks.  E-mail me at kiralynnpdx@gmail.com.

  4. Oh man! Nothing finer than Dave's.... well, I do prefer homemade. But, after that, I'll take Dave's any day.

  11. Haha, we have the same east side, west side thing here. I keep wishing one of my best friends would move over to the east side just so we would be closer. And really it takes like 20 minutes to get to her house tops. So weird! :)

  13. haha it's so true. i feel the same way, but about the east side. it just seems so farrr away, but then again i also live way out west in the burbs so you guys are even further to me. makes me sad. although i heard they are finally building a max line out there! which would make it just a teensy bit easier to get there. :)

    1. There is already a max line out here. The blue line goes from downtown through east Portland all the way to Gresham. Also the green and red lines cover some of East Portland too :)
