Portlander Problems #9

1. I found our Heart In Oregon sticker while cleaning.  We never put it on the car for some reason.  Is that still a cool thing to do?
2. Depending on whether someone considers themselves a hipster or not, somehow everything that is either bad or good is described as "hipster."  I might hear, "that dress is so hipster" (meaning it's cute).  Or, "those pants are so hipster" (meaning they are ridiculous.)  I'm getting pretty tired of that word.
3. I feel like it is my duty to explain to people that beanies and tank tops don't actually make sense together.  Either your arms are cold or your head is sweaty.  Dear Portlanders, there is no such thing as beanie and tank top weather.

  3. this is hilarious! here, hipster is definitely bad, no matter the subject or phrase. and i've also never gotten the beanie in spring or summer; it's too hot!

  5. Haha! I love that "hipster" has become the multi-dimensional adjective that is is. It can mean so many things!

  6. I have to disagree about beanies and tanks - Beanies keep you just warm enough in cooler spring or fall weather, so that you can still get some much-needed sun on your arms! Just my two cents. :)
