It's pretty much standard procedure for mothers to dress their daughters like themselves, right?
On Saturday, Pearl spit up on both of us so I went to change our clothes. I pulled out an H&M dress that I have had for a couple of years. Then I remembered that Pearl had something similar in her closet that had yet to be worn.
So, I got us dressed and told Jeremy he had to take our photos. I'm sure there was some major eye rolling going on behind the lens.
If we ever have a boy, maybe he will understand.

Sooooo pretty! Love the matching outfits.
ReplyDeleteYou two are gorgeous! I can't wait for the day I can do this with my daughter :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteKira, you seriously look AMAZING! So gorgeous and glowing, motherhood suits you so well!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I think Craig and Jeremy probably have similar sentiments toward mother/daughter matching. When he came home and we were super matchy the other day we definitely got some eye rolls, but he obliged me with some picture taking :). we should have a mother/daughter brunch or something and make it a stipulation that you have to match. that would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteawww! You two are the cutest!!
ReplyDeleteAnd let me tell you, I have a little boy and it seems to me that he 'understands'. Still. But it comes with age. I think. :)
Yep. Our men are getting old. Haha ;D

I can't WAIT to have this baby girl, for this exact reason! Claire is too old, she won't let me dress us alike anymore. Haha.
ReplyDeleteYou girls are the prettiest, I swear.
Andy says I treat Joshua like a doll but all I do is make sure he matches!! He is all boy and hates collars, buttons or anything not comfy. He is also a good mountain baby and is okay with hats, sunglasses and fleece coats/snowsuits.
