School Spirit for Baby

I attended a baby shower for our friends Greg and Megan on Saturday.  Greg went to college with Jeremy and I at Oregon State University.  Megan grew up in a home full of University of Oregon fans.  Generally, a marriage between a Beaver and a Duck just would never last, but Greg and Megan somehow find a way to make it work.  I pretty much make bibs for every baby shower I go to now and I wanted to do something for them that would make both mom and dad happy.  So this was my solution.  A reversible bib with Oregon colors (green and yellow) on one side and Oregon State colors (orange and black) on the other.  That way, whichever parent put her bib on would be happy.
As I was photographing the bib, Pearl chose her favorite side.  Thank the Lord, she chose correctly!
Also, just in case you weren't convinced that she is already an OSU fan, she totally has the cheerleading outfit to prove it (thanks Gammie)!

  1. I love those bibs!!! I wish Ellie still wore bibs so I could get something cute like that! :-)

  2. Thank you so much for the reversible bib Kira! It is a big hit in our home already even without baby girl here to use it yet :)

  3. I liked the way you phrased that. The term "graduate" applies to Oregon State while (bandwagon) "fan" is how one most describes those with Yellow and Green tendencies.

Oh, woops, my inner Orange is showing with that comment.

I better put it away. Right next to my OSU degree. ;)

  4. Such a good idea! I bet the parents appreciated it :)

  5. Aww! What a super cute idea!! Team rivalries are fun...even when they're in the family. ;) AND your little cheerleader is PRECIOUS!!!!!

I love to hear from you, and will do my best to respond to your comment! Please no spam :)
