Portlander Problems #26 - Downtown Living

The problems are all related to living in downtown Portland this week.  They were submitted by Megan at The Boho Mama who lives downtown with her husband and twin girls.  Her girls are just a couple of months older than Pearl and are oh so cute!  Stop by her blog and say hi.

Problems with downtown living:
 1. Walking in circles while arguing over where to walk to coffee because of the sheer number of possibilities.  Note to self: the deal breaker is always the pastries.
2. Timing all car related errands and outings according to the street parking situation around your apartment building.  If you found a good spot, you aren't going ANYWHERE.
3. When you're walking along the riverfront, enjoying the view, and all of a sudden you're in a full blown gypsy camp, complete with tambourines and dogs.
4. Your apartment building is so eco-friendly-green-LEED-certified that no air gets in or out, creating a very uncomfortable situation in any temperature over 80 degrees.

If you live in the Portland area and want to share some of your own, I would love if you would submit your Portlander Problems to me.
I will post yours one of these coming weeks.  E-mail me at kiralynnpdx@gmail.com.

  2. This one made me laugh. Megan's got her head in the right place with the pastries. For sure :o)

  3. Hahaha! I can honestly say that I can't relate at all to any of these. Do we live in the same country? :)
