Even though my first pregnancy wasn't that long ago, I've been having a hard time remembering what I looked like at different stages. I was curious about whether I looked similar this time around so I checked out my old bump photos this evening. I compared them with one I had taken recently.
21 weeks with Pearl // 20 weeks with baby boy
One observation is that my bump photos were actually planned last time and look a lot nicer. I need to get better about taking photos this time around. Afterthought cell phone photos are pretty much all I have done so far. This pregnancy seems to be flying by and Pearl keeps me so busy that I just forget. It is important though, I want baby boy to look back someday and see my pregnancy with him documented.

ReplyDeleteI think they look pretty similar! You seem to carry so high to me - maybe because you're taller? I don't know, but your belly is ADORABLE! Since he's a boy, he probably won't care that your backgrounds were better with Pearl. Haha. ;) Can you really grasp that you're going to have another baby? I still haven't quite grasped it and I'm 29 weeks. It's crazy!

ReplyDeleteYou look great Kira! I loved comparing baby bumps! And I totally know what you mean about not getting around to take a "bump" picture. I didn't take nearly as many with Lily as I did with Blake... life is so busy when you've got a toddler!

ReplyDeleteCute! Yep, phone photos have gotten pretty good these days. But yes, would be great to have more pregnancy photos and this time you could do them with Pearl in them too!
