Pearl is Ready for Valentine's Day!

Jeremy has class on Thursdays which means Pearl doesn't generally see him at all.  He goes to work before she wakes up in the morning and she is usually in bed by the time he gets home from his night class.  Valentine's Day falls on a Thursday next week so Pearl and I are going to meet him for lunch.  I decided to make her a shirt to wear out to lunch that day.
I made the design quickly in Illustrator, printed, and cut it out.  Then I used the paper pieces as patterns and cut fabric out in all of my little shapes.  I didn't have to sew anything because I used Heat 'n Bond Ultra Hold to attach the pieces to a t-shirt.  It isn't perfect, but I really love how it turned out.
