Portlander Problems #42

1. My husband had to go door-to-door in our neighborhood recently to find out whose pet ducks ended up in our backyard.
2. Watching the neighbor run around our yard in the pouring rain trying to catch his ducks.
3. Dealing with the lady who knocks on our door twice a week during Pearl's nap to ask if we have any cans she can return for money.  We have never had cans yet she continues to wake up our child.
4. One word...fluoride.

  1. Hahaha...my roommate had pet ducks once. They are awful! They poop everywhere and do not stay cute little "ducklings" for long!

  2. Hehe! This was a fun little read. Glad I found you. I live outside of Portland but I still get it. :)
Once when I was a kid in Southern Oregon our neighbors herd of sheep escaped and came over for a visit. No joke. We had a little Shelty dog and he herded them into our garage and kept them trapped there. (Hence the name Shetland Sheepdog). We had to go find the neighbor to come and take them home. As a young kid it was the coolest day!

  4. OH no! I've never had the door-knock can seekers. Good luck with that!
