Jeremy has started the work on our master bedroom. The demo is almost complete so it looks like a mess right now, but it is good to see progress being made. The walls are torn out, popcorn ceiling texture has been scraped off, and the bathroom was completely gutted. We found out that the floor was so rotted through under the shower that if we would have tried to use it someone could have fallen through! The wall to the left will soon have a window that we purchased yesterday. The sliding glass door will be replaced with french doors which we also picked up last night. I'm so glad my husband knows how to do this stuff!

wow! Looking great! can't wait to see the progress photos.
ReplyDeleteSo exciting! Is that a sweet new washer/dryer I see in the background? It looks like one we used to have...I loved it so much!
ReplyDeleteYeah, we got the washer and dryer when we first moved in. They are very nice! We have always had craigslist ones before and went through a lot so we figured it was worth it. I think it will be pretty nice to have the utility room right outside of our bedroom too!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love house remodeling. I hope you are doing well. We should catch up soon!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I had no idea it was going to be that BIG of a project! Good job Jeremy! When he's finished, can he come over and teach Mark and I a thing or two? This looks like what I want to do to our bedroom! It involves tearing down a wall and installing a sliding glass door. And I lack all of the know-how.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see how your room turns out!
