The Room Before & Other Things

We are working on setting up the bedroom and I will take some photos tonight.  I am so excited to sleep in my new bed!  The photos will not be posted until tomorrow, but in the meantime I wanted to give you a reminder of where the room has been.  Check here and here for past posts of in progress photos.  I can't wait to show you guys what my amazing husband has done.

Also, I wanted to tell you guys about an amazing event I had the opportunity to be involved in over the weekend.  It is called Compassion SE.  It is a once a year thing that happens in SE Portland where doctors, dentists, veterinarians, and people from all walks of life volunteer their time to give free services to people in the neighborhood who need it.  It was great to see so many people come together in order to help out their neighbors.  I love living in SE Portland.

We went to our friend Mary and her new husband Christian's wedding as well.  Mary is so hilarious.  She and her dad did their father-daughter dance to "Free Bird" and there was definitely a bit of air guitar involved.  It was great!  Below is a photo Jeremy took after the wedding.  Notice that his tie matches my dress quite nicely.  Good job, us.
