Time

Do you ever think about what you could accomplish if you just had more time in a day?

I was thinking about that today.  Generally I start out a day with a long list of things to do.  Not actually a written list, but one in my head anyway.  I am usually on top of it with work related things, but once I get home I'm lucky if I cross anything off my mind list.  Then there are the things I never put on the list, but would love to have time to do.  I have compiled another list in my head today of things I would do if there were just a few more hours in the day.  Here they are:

1. clean my house.
2. give my dogs more baths so they don't stink up the house.
3. take down my Halloween decorations.
4. sleep more.
5. keep up with old friends.
6. call my parents and sisters more often.
7. finish my sewing room.
8. sew, knit, make more headbands.
9. learn to cook new things.
10. go grocery shopping more than 6 times a year.
11. paint.
12. learn to play the drums.
13. design the tattoo I have wanted forever.
14. read.

What would you do with more time? And, this is why #2 is on the list...

  1. What an insightful blog - you are the most efficient person I know at work! I cannot imagine you not getting a million things done at work too.

More time? I would write a book.

  3. Wendi, what would the book be about?

Thanks Melissa! I think clay Jeremy actually kind of looks like him. Also, I agree with the grandparents comment. I should add that to my list.

  5. Rachel, what kind of artwork do you like to do? I love painting, but I haven't done it for years! I wonder if I'm any good at it anymore.
