The holiday scramble

Yesterday was really nuts.  I ran a ton of errands...went to WinCo, Home Depot, Target, World Market, Kohl's, Trader Joe's, and Sears.  I also cleaned the main living area and put together more holiday decorations for our family Christmas party at our house on Thursday.  I did laundry, dishes, made cookies, and wrapped presents.  Still, somehow I have just as many things on my list today.
Here are a few photos of my work around the house yesterday:
This is the first thing you see coming into the house.
Flowers from Trader Joe's.  They are so pretty and really cheap!
Fun holiday candy.
This gingerbread house decoration was given to me as a gift.  It is actually a soap dispenser, but I didn't think I really needed a gingerbread house soap dispenser so I filled it with water and put a flower in it.
Some of the wrapped presents.  I also made tags for the presents, but I haven't gotten around to adding them or ribbon yet so I will post that when I'm done.

Ok, I need to run more errands now...

  1. Good for you! I love those flowers : ) Although Christmas is super stressful, it is still really fun and only comes once a year, so I try to enjoy it! Good luck with the rest of your errands!
