Pearl is five months old!
Pearl is the master of rolling. She often accidentally rolls over onto her tummy and gets mad. She has woken herself up from naps because she rolled over in her sleep. Pearl has also figured out that if she continuously rolls, she can get to toys or get off of her play mat and onto the rug.
Pearl gets excited when her daddy gets home from work now. She will smile and grab his face when she sees him. It is adorable. She has also started to prefer us over other people. Before this month she would let anyone hold her and be totally content with it. That is starting to change. She went nuts in the nursery at church on Sunday and the only thing that would calm her down was for me to come hold her. It's a bit of a pain, but it also makes me feel special.
Her feedings are mostly around 15 minutes now which has really improved my quality of life.
Pearl loves her puppies. She makes cute little noises at them and smiles when they come by. She loves to touch them although Roxy still doesn't let it happen too often. Syd is still very good and doesn't seem to mind Pearl pulling on her fur.
Most pants don't fit over her rather large bottom when she is wearing cloth diapers so she rarely wears pants at home.
Pearl hates it when I try to get her to sit unless it's on the couch. She doesn't seem to be close to sitting on her own yet and she is pretty uninterested in the idea of trying.
I can't believe she is 5 months old already. The time has flown by. We love our sweet little girl so much.
See how much she has grown!

So cute! Holden has rolled from tummy to back but lately he hasn't been doing that any more and he has never rolled back to belly! I think he's lazy. ;) Haha. I actually think he might sit before he rolls! So funny how each baby is different. The bulkiness of cloth diapers is a down side. I can get most of Holden's pants to fit over his...but sometimes they won't. He's in sleepers or baby legs a lot at home! I need to do a 5 month post...I have taken the picture! ;) Procrastination rules my life. ;)
ReplyDeleteI really can't believe how big she has gotten! I totally remember B barrel rolling to get to where he wanted to go...it's so funny to watch! BUT enjoy the non-movement while it lasts because it won't be too much longer and she will be into everything! :)
