Pearl is six months old!
Pearl doesn't crawl quite yet, but she can go anywhere she wants to by rolling and scooting backward. She will get into crawling position and bounce around like she knows something is supposed to happen, but hasn't figured out forward motion. Pearl is constantly backing herself under the furniture and grabbing onto things that I would rather she not touch.
Up until a week ago she absolutely hated being placed in a sitting position to practice sitting on her own. She finally decided it wasn't too bad and has enjoyed playing with her feet this last week while sitting down.
Pearl enjoys it when her daddy holds her upside down.
She gets more fun every month and I can't believe we are already celebrating her half birthday!

She has tried rice cereal a few times. The spoon is of more interest to her than anything else. It's hard to get the cereal to her mouth when she is pulling on the end of the spoon. She is going to try her first puree this afternoon.
Her head is in the 95% for size and she can almost fit into my headbands. Clearly, we have a genius baby on our hands. Such a large brain!She gets more fun every month and I can't believe we are already celebrating her half birthday!

Love it, you should make your blog posts about her into a book! I can't wait to see her. Video her when feeding her food today, I want to see if she makes any funny faces.
