This is Pearl escaping the house. She often crawls over to the sliding glass door and stands in front of it to watch the dogs outside. Today I forgot that I left the door open so by the time I got to her, she was already out exploring the patio.

Lately I have been giving Pearl a finger food lunch so I don't have to feed her and can get little projects done while I watch her eat. On this particular day I did some hand sewing. Most of the time, I do the dishes.
And since some people have already asked, those red things are not hot dogs. They are these.
