A walk down memory lane

I have had this blog for a little over a year now.  Readership has grown slowly over time and although I still don't have many "followers" I certainly have a lot more readers than I did when I started.  I had about five regular readers my first few months and looking back I think some of my posts were actually quite interesting.  Since hardly anyone read them before and posts tend to get buried I have selected a few of them to link to here.

Shanghai Expo

I just want to apologize for taking so long to post any photos from my trip.  I lost the cord for my camera, but then I found it today!  I lost some flip flops, my checkbook, and a dog for a while today, but I found my camera cord.  So yeah, that's something.

Below are photos from my trip to the Shanghai Expo.  There are a lot and I don't want to fill up the whole page with them so if you want to see more try looking at my Facebook album.  I tried to leave this album open to everyone so hopefully that means you can access it.  I need to get a Flickr or something, but I feel like my photos suck so bad that it's not really worth it.  I will do a few more posts about my trip in the week to come.

People make bad decisions in China, too.  I was wearing a Blazers t-shirt.  Much more acceptable.  I gave him the stink eye.

It's fun to laugh at Iran.  Nice desktop.

 I am also really excited about the fact that our bedroom is nearly complete.  Our mattress will be delivered on Wednesday and then we will be able to sleep in our new bed! I am so tired of sleeping on the floor so this is just way too exciting.  I will post pictures of the room later this week as well.

I'm home!

I am just so thrilled to be at home!  The trip was wonderful and I feel like I got so much work accomplished, but it was really exhausting.  I got to see many places I would have never seen and I have a greater appreciation for my company and the partners we work with as a result.  But, I missed my family so much and I am really excited to be with them again.  Jeremy also nearly finished our bedroom which was completely unexpected and we got our new phones in the mail so I have been messing around with that all day.  We are going to pick up our new furniture for the bedroom tonight.  I am so tired.  I will post photos from the trip and of our bedroom soon.

Finally, I Can Breathe

Sorry about the lag in posts.  I know I told you this might happen, but I was hoping for the best.  I could not access my blog, Facebook, or fresh air while in China.  Overall it was great minus those few things and the fact that I got sick.  I knew I should not have eaten the lettuce! Lesson learned.

We went to the Shanghai Expo on our one weekend day off while there.  I will post some photos Karen (my amazing co-worker) and I took once I get home next week.  It was really cool, but you had to wait 5 hours in a line to go into any of the buildings so we just admired their exterior.  Below is one photo for your viewing pleasure of me and the UK building.  You should really go to the website and read about it.  That building was super sweet.

I am in Taipei for the remainder of the trip.  I already like it here, but I am mostly ready to come home. We have a couple of very busy days coming up though so I think that will make the time fly by.

A few snapshots of Vietnam

Hi, I really need to be getting to bed as it is fairly late and I am still adjusting to the time difference, but below are some photos we took yesterday on our walk around Ho Chi Minh City.

The clear photos were taken by Karen, the blurry ones are taken by me.  I really need to get a better camera that will make up for the fact that I am terrible at taking photos.

 I will of course give you much more information upon my return and maybe a few other posts of Shanghai and Taipei photos along the way.

Asia Trip

Hi friends,

I'm going to be gone for the next two weeks on a business trip that is taking me to China, Vietnam, and Taiwan.  I'm going to be very busy so I don't know if I will have a chance to post anything on the blog.  I will post photos when I get back and possibly while I'm there if I get a chance.

If you know my husband this would be a great time for you to invite him over for dinner.  I don't want him eating Totino's frozen pizza every night!

And...Bryce and Emily named their baby girl Audrey Grace.  What a beautiful name!
