The To-Do List

I made a list this morning of all the things I need to do today and tomorrow.  So many things fell off of the priority list these last two months (including cleaning my house, ugh).  I often make lists for work stuff, but I don't generally do it for home tasks unless I have a lot on my plate.  I wanted to make sure I captured it all, so nothing got missed.  Pearl made a list too right next to mine.  Her squiggles look like more fun.  Hopefully I will have it all done tomorrow so Pearl and I can have some fun outside later this week.  The weather is supposed to be really nice here.

I wish I could set this list aside for a couple more days and head down to California with my parents.  My sweet aunt died last week and they are going down to help out and attend the funeral.  I'm too late in my pregnancy to make the trip and it's hard knowing I can't be there.  I take comfort in knowing that she isn't suffering anymore and is now celebrating and healthy again in heaven.  I just wish I could be there to support my family and to fully process her being gone.  It's hard to believe since I live far away and don't see her on a regular basis.  I am glad that a good percentage of my Oregon family is able to head down there though.
