This weekend Jeremy made good progress on the bedroom. He is currently finishing up the Sheetrock. I can hear him drilling away down the hall. Here are some photos from the bedroom today:
Jeremy also planned a surprise evening outing for us. We rarely go out and do anything on the weekend because of house stuff so it was really appreciated and a lot of fun! I didn't know where we were going until we got there. We went to the Country Cat for dinner and then to the Academy Theater down the street to watch Fantastic Mr. Fox. I love the Academy Theater, it is cheap and has tasty cider! Thanks for planning it, Jeremy!
Also this weekend, Syd dug her way out of our fence. She found a spot that was slightly rotted out at the bottom so there was a little clearance. It just took some digging for her to fit though. I found her across the street covered in dirt. I'm glad she is safe and that she didn't go after the neighbor's chickens! That area under the fence is now covered with cement blocks, but I am beginning to think there is no real way to hold her in. Thank God we have found her every time she has gotten out so far! I'm hoping that as we mend the areas she finds she will eventually run out of fence weaknesses to exploit.
Here is a photo of the rascal yesterday trying to sneak some ground turkey from the table:
And, just to be fair here is a cute photo of Roxy playing with a potato last weekend. Potatoes aren't bad for dogs right? I hope not because I think she ate it.
I hope you all had a great weekend!

That picture of Sydney trying to sneak the turkey is so ridiculously cute! It must be framed.
