This weekend my little sister Kacy and her fiancé Steve stopped by our house to discuss wedding invitations and save the dates. I'm designing those as well as putting together the candy table for their wedding. I have had a lot of fun coming up with ideas. It's going to be an outdoor, country themed wedding. It should be casual and lots of fun. They are having pie instead of cake and a live band. Their theme colors are going to be orange and yellow.
Kacy and I came up with a save the date format that we like. It will be tweaked a bit once I have their actual photo, but below is the concept. There is a photo of Jeremy and I subbed in for now because their photo hasn't been taken yet.
I am going to make them signs or flags with the date to hold in their photo. I don't want to ruin the fun for guests so I won't post the final version until they have all been sent out.
I hope you had a fun weekend as well!

How fun! I loved wedding planning! What software are you using to create the save the dates? I am interested in buying a good program to make things like Birthday invitations and Christmas cards. I would love to hear what you are using and how you like it!
ReplyDeleteSara,
ReplyDeleteI did all of the finishing stuff in Adobe Illustrator, but I actually used a free website for some of the design called:

It's really fun and easy. You should try it out to see if it works for you before buying anything.
