This girl likes to spread out.
Pearl will happily sleep anywhere during the day, but we are still working on getting her to sleep in the co-sleeper at night. She is generally wide awake from 9pm to 3 or 4am. She seems to hate swaddles, laying on her back, and her co-sleeper. I've given up on trying to swaddle her hands in at bed time.
I can proudly say we had a nice chunk of sleep from about 3am-7:45am this morning. It felt wonderful. I hope it's a sign of things to come. I would like her to go to sleep before 3am though. That would be nice.

ReplyDeleteKira she looks so big already! What a stinkin cutie you have! Sleep will get better now that her stomach can hold more. I find that I actually function way better being sleep deprived than I thought I would! Can't wait to see you guys again!

Kira, Sophia never liked to be swaddled and only liked sleeping on her stomach :) I relate to that completely. It was so funny because so many people said to have her sleep on her back and she will LOVE to be swaddled...but nope! And I really hope you can get her to sleep earlier. I am so sorry that you have such late nights... Loving the pictures and stories because I am either right there with you or was JUST tehre

ReplyDeleteHaha...so cute. Mine does something similar. And, sometimes while sleeping he does act like a little zombie (as Iris mentioned above).
