New Name

Hi friends,

When I started this blog I decided to use my name as the URL because I couldn't think of anything else.  I had always planned to come up with a title, but that fell way down on my to do list and I just haven't thought much about it until recently.  I really don't like having my name as the title of my blog as I never intended for it to be all about myself.

This has really become a place for me to share about our lives and our home here in Portland.  I have a lot of future plans on improving the content of this blog and I thought a new title would be the best place to start.

This blog is officially called Rain or Shine and the URL will remain the same.  I chose this name because, besides the obvious that it rains a lot in Portland, I want this to be a place where I write honestly about the happy moments in my life (let's call that the shine) and the more rainy moments as well.   I also hope to post DIY projects and fun finds that will brighten up your rainy days, too.

In the next couple of months I will be introducing a weekly series that I am excited about as well as a giveaway or two.  Stay tuned.
